CREATION
We needed a character for this campaign with our target audience (students) by bringing a sense of fun and relatability to Casio calculators. Inspired by the nostalgic charm of retro designed, I developed a notebook inspired character. This choice not only aligns with the "Back to school" theme but also evokes a playful, creative atmosphere, resonating with younger audiences and their academic journey.

We explored different layouts, character variations, and placements of key information to ensure the campaign resonated with a diverse audience and adapted seamlessly across various formats and platforms.
After the campaign's approval, it was rolled out to refresh older calculator models with the new identity. The campaign was further implemented across billboards, street advertisements, stores and even buses to maximize visibility and reach a broader audience.

In addition I also developed a sticker sheet as an engaging add-on for the campaign. This sticker sheet as included with every calculator purchase, offering customers a fun and creative way to personalize their belongings, such as notebooks, laptops, or other school supplies. The stickers were designed to align with the campaign's retro aesthetic and featured playful elements, including the campaign character, to further reinforce brand identity and create a memorable experience for the audience.
This project was all about bringing a smile to people's faces while keeping things functional and fun for the 2024 school year, while streamlining the purchasing experience for our calculators.
